The set having a blue ground with finely hand painted panels of Neoclassical scenes of maidens seated in floral settings and accompanied with cherubs, there are alternate panels hand painted with doves & musical instruments, the hand painted scenes are heightened with raised gilded decoration. The set comprising a lidded teapot, cream jug, covered sugar
