Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Totenkopf, topped by an SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, executed in identical machine embroidery, affixed to black wool backer cut directly from a Waffen SS Panzer Troops M43 field cap, measuring 65 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), a superb battlefield retrieved
